To correctly configure the Deister integration with portier®VISION, certain entries in the file portiervision.ini need to be adjusted. This file is located in the installation directory of your portier®VISION installation.
Add the following section to your portiervision.ini or adjust it according to your configuration:

URL of the Deister proxSafe WebService. The service must be reachable and correctly configured.
DB
Name of the Deister database server before the semicolon (;) and SQL Server instance after it. Example: w2003sv/pscv3;instance=SQLEXPRESS.
PASSWORD
Password of the SQL Server account used for the Deister database.
USERNAME
Username of the SQL Server account used for the Deister database.
After configuration, start the synchronisation from the main menu: Daten > Deister > Datenabgleich mit Deister starten.
The Exemplar-Deister window opens with two tabs: Datenpflege and DeisterBund. The main grid shows Deister cabinets, the associated keys, and the corresponding copies. Synchronisation buttons reconcile issues and returns. A progress bar tracks longer operations.
Security note: If portier®VISION cannot match a Deister cabinet ID to an existing Vision user, the system automatically creates a new system user with a default password and the SystemUser flag set. Review the user list after initial setup and assign a dedicated password.
Integration note: The integration is one-way: portier®VISION reads the cabinet state and writes movements back into the Vision database. Manual edits in portier®VISION are not pushed back to the Deister cabinet.
Note: Make sure that the Deister proxSafe WebService is running and accessible before starting the integration.
The POLLINTERVAL value defines the interval in seconds at which portier®VISION queries the Deister system.
HOSTCHECK controls whether the SSL certificate is validated. This is useful for test environments.
